The equipment is primarily used for battery charge/discharge testing and related battery characteristic tests, with each test channel completely independent. Through software programming, users can arbitrarily program current and voltage within the rated range to charge/discharge batteries. The system supports barcode‑triggered startup and data binding for product traceability management, enabling real‑time monitoring of battery data changes during charge/discharge cycles.

The equipment accurately controls the termination condition of each process step through time‑based, voltage‑based, and current‑based limits.

The equipment features output reverse‑connection protection, voltage sense line fault detection, current test line fault detection, and corresponding protection functions. In the event of reverse battery connection, the channel cannot deliver or draw current. If a voltage sense line becomes loose or disconnected, or if a current test line has poor contact, the equipment promptly detects the abnormality and suspends the test channel. The system also includes power‑failure protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection to ensure test safety.

Under any circumstance – such as sudden power loss, communication interruption, or other anomalies – upon restoration of normal conditions, the test steps can automatically resume either from the point of interruption or via forced continuation.

User‑defined variables are supported in programming, enabling a wide range of combined test profiles, as well as multiple nested loop structures.

Each channel features independently programmable constant‑current and constant‑voltage sources, allowing separate configuration of test steps per channel.

The equipment supports offline protection and offline operation. In the event of host‑slave communication interruption or anomalies, the equipment will promptly enter offline operation mode. In case of sudden power failure of the slave device, the test will be paused; after the user confirms and resolves the on‑site issue, the equipment can resume testing.

The system can precisely capture dynamic changes in voltage and current. If voltage or current fluctuations exceed a preset range, the equipment automatically generates an alarm and pauses testing. A logging function is provided to record all operational events and anomaly logs throughout the entire test process, enabling traceability and fault diagnosis.

Data logging and processing: The main channel can be optionally equipped with auxiliary temperature or voltage channels to monitor battery temperature or voltage in real time. Simultaneous display includes total voltage, total current, total capacity, auxiliary channel temperature, etc.

The system calculates formation‑related charge/discharge capacity and energy parameters, and can plot dynamic curves for each cell during the formation process in real time – including voltage/time, current/time, capacity/time, energy/time, and capacity/voltage curves. Simultaneous display of multiple curves is supported. All curves can be zoomed in and out arbitrarily for close inspection of current or voltage stability over short time intervals.

The equipment communicates with the host PC via Ethernet interface, ensuring stable and real‑time data acquisition over long distances. Remote monitoring of host‑side operations of shop‑floor equipment is possible through the office network.

Manual tray mapping function: Based on equipment markings, the user can bind cell information to the corresponding storage slot.

Manual tray release function: The user can release the cell information associated with a tray by entering the tray ID.

MES interface support: The software can be interfaced and debugged with the MES system for data acquisition and transmission.
