The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) assembly and test line for new energy vehicles is a flexible production system specifically designed for core ADAS components in NEVs. Integrating component assembly, functional calibration, and full‑process inspection into a single system, it enables high‑volume, standardised production of ADAS controllers, sensors, and other critical components. The line meets automotive‑grade high‑reliability and high‑consistency requirements, supports mixed‑model production across multiple vehicle types and ADAS product variants, and complies with IATF 16949 automotive production standards. It underpins the stable implementation of autonomous driving assistance functions in new energy vehicles.


The current manufacturing processes are primarily confronted with the following challenges:

✅ Low manual assembly efficiency and poor quality control, making it difficult to meet capacity expansion needs.

✅ Lack of standardised operating procedures, resulting in insufficient product consistency.

✅ Absence of real‑time monitoring and data traceability mechanisms.


To address these issues, the client has decided to introduce an automated/semi‑automated assembly line solution to enhance production efficiency and product reliability.

First、Introduction to Core Equipment

Automated Loading/Unloading:Automatically sorts, conveys, and positions components – including upper housings, lower housings, and PCBA boards – improving feeding efficiency and enabling automated assembly.

Fastening:Utilises servo‑driven screw fastening machines with integrated sensors to automatically complete screw feeding and fastening, with data uploaded to the AMES system, ensuring secure, consistent, and traceable fastening.

Assembly:Precisely assembles components using dedicated equipment, ensuring proper fit and alignment.

Dispensing:Precisely applies sealing compounds and RTV silicone to guarantee product sealing and thermal conductivity.

Inspection:Integrated throughout the entire process, inspecting both components and finished products to identify and reject non‑conforming items.

Labeling:Automated labeling equipment for precise application of product labels.

Laser Marking:Laser marking equipment for engraving product model numbers, traceability codes, and other identification information

Testing:Comprehensive testing coverage including leak testing, impedance and functional testing, programming, final inspection, communication testing, insulation testing, and burn‑in testing – ensuring full‑process quality control, precise VCU control logic, and stable operation.

1. NEV OEM Production – Passenger and Commercial Vehicles:
Applicable to battery electric and plug‑in hybrid passenger and commercial vehicles, the line is used for the assembly and testing of ADAS core components (controllers and sensors), supporting the deployment of assisted driving functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA).

2. NEV Component and System Supply Chain:
Provides scalable assembly and test solutions for ADAS core component suppliers, enabling standardised production that complies with automotive‑grade requirements and supports integration into OEM vehicle lines.

3. New Model R&D and Prototype Development:
Supports assembly and performance testing of ADAS system prototypes for new vehicle models, helping R&D teams validate ADAS functional compatibility and control logic, thereby accelerating model development and iteration cycles.

4. After‑Sales Repair and Rework, plus ADAS Retrofitting and Test Applications:
Applicable to the repair and rework of ADAS components, covering disassembly, re‑assembly, and performance re‑validation of faulty units after repair. The line also extends to ADAS system retrofitting and test/inspection applications in the NEV sector, providing assembly and testing support for related fields.
